I rate this recipe a 5!!! It tastes just like the Hidden Valley Ranch mix you buy in the store....but it tastes even BETTER!! It is missing all those chemicals and has a "fresher" taste to it. Plus when you have the mix (or all the ingredients) you don't have to sweat when you reach for the ranch mix...with these recipe in your Pinterest file, you'll always have ranch :)

Some of the ingredients needed for this recipe I already had on hand, but one in particular I needed. Powdered buttermilk...who knew that was an actual product. It was easy to locate...right in the baking section at my local Walmart.
Ingredients:
1/3 C dry buttermilk
1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried onion flakes
1/4 tsp ground pepper
Step 1: Place all of the ingredients into a food processor or I my case I used my blender. Blend it all together for a minute or 2...you want to make sure that the parsley and onion flakes are broken/crumbled. Store in an airtight container. I used a mason jar.
A few last things....I made a double batch so that I had enough to last a while since like I said before...we LOVE ranch. When making mine I used a tablespoon of the mix with the other ingredients. Depending on how you like your ranch, you could add or subtract some mix to your liking.
I hope you all enjoy this as much as we do!! Tomorrow I am using it to make a special treat...stay tuned!
